Chapter Five

Once we've got ourselves unpacked and settled in, we look at the schedules Mrs Braid gave us and realize we have to meet for a quick tour of the ship.

We ascend back up into the main banquet hall and join the other gathered girls. Both groups appear to be there, and I find myself looking over the girls from group B with a kind of mixed fascination and disdain.

For me, the idea of working in lingerie and, perhaps at a push, getting my kit off, is bad enough. But I'd go no further than that. A strict look but don't touch policy with me.

These girls, however, have signed up to sleep with these men. To provide them with sexual 'entertainment' for the duration of the trip. Whether that means pure sex or something more I don't know.

But still, the money's so good that some small part of me, at least, can understand what they're doing. I wonder how many of them are already hookers, who see this as some fancy payday that only comes around once per year.

Perhaps others are normal models crossing that line for the first time, seduced by the hefty paycheck. That sort of money is truly life-changing, particularly for struggling models and actresses, so I guess it's not overly surprising that some girls have chosen to opt in.

For about an hour, Mrs Braid leads us around the parts of the ship that we have access to. It's much like I'd expect any cruise ship to be like, only far more opulent and extravagant.

There are restaurants, bars, a fancy casino and night club for the younger guests. Up top are swimming pools and other sporting facilities and plenty of space for lounging under the sun.

We aren't shown a great deal of the ship, though. Much of it, perhaps a majority, is taken up by cabins to accommodate the guests, which I can only assume are large and luxuriously appointed.

Once the tour is over, we breaks again into our two groups. Mrs Braid continues to show group B to other areas of the ship where they have access.

Probably to the brothel where they'll be working.

My group, however, spend time getting to know the layout and getting shown around the kitchen and bars within the restaurants and main banquet hall. My role, and Jessie's too, will be simply to provide service in the banquet hall each night, and up on the deck each day.

We'll get breaks, here and there, and will have some free time to enjoy ourselves and even lounge around with the men. Socializing with them is actually encouraged here, and we're told to make sure they have as good a time as possible.

As the ship continues to pull out to sea, Jessie and I find ourselves back in our cabin, preparing for our first dinner.
